The Good Harvest School, India

design and build a dormitory for volunteers + workshop in earth construction + natural building

The Good Harvest School is an agri based primary school for girls, which is located in a village outside Lucknow. The school provide exceptional educational opportunities for the less fortunate. Culturally poor rural families will spend there limits cash getting their boys to school but will not invest in education for their girls. Our aim is to transform the current education system in villages. Clearly we have different visions for a girl born in a city and a farmers daughter in a village.

At The Good Harvest School, an all-girls’ environment provides a wonderful opportunity for girls to explore who they are as young women without social pressure. We seek to establish strong bonds of connections between the girls, to open up and share their feelings and empathise with one another. We offer a comfortable learning atmosphere with strong female role models as their positive mentors, equipping our students to adapt to the ever changing demands of the world.

The Good Harvest School introduces agriculture in the classrooms and promotes sustainable green education without any monetary contributions from its students. Please support this project by donating here, every Rupee goes along way: DONATE
